Managing Mailboxes - E-Mail

This is the email address where messages and faxes are sent to if email has been activated.  See Activating Email.

This field can contain multiple addresses separated by a semi-colon. e.g. sales@speechsoft.com;support@speechsoft.com

CALLMaster will use the default email profile set-up on the computer.

The subject of the e-mail is defined by the System Parameter ‘MAPI Subject’, while the body text is defined by the System Parameter ‘MAPI Msg Text’. Also included in the message is the time, date and sender name (sender’s mailbox # or caller-id or ‘Outside Caller’).

The voice message file is included as a .wav format attachment to the e-mail.
The fax document received to the mailbox is included as a .tif format attachment to the e-mail.

To send the email without the voice or fax file received as an attachment, enter a minus sign (–) as the first character of the first email address. All email addresses entered in this field will not get the attachment.
e.g. -name@hotmail.com.

To NOT send an email at all, use the backslash character (\) as the first character of the first email address. All email addresses entered in this field will not be emailed.  This feature would provide the email address on the Mailboxes record for information purposes only.
e.g. \name@hotmail.com
